Piezo Ceramic Plate Different Shape And Materials
When the voltage acts on the piezoelectric ceramic, it will produce mechanical deformation with changes in voltage and frequency. On the other hand, when the piezoelectric ceramic is vibrated, an electric charge is generated. Using this principle, when an electric signal is applied to a vibrator consisting of two piezoelectric ceramics or one piece of piezoelectric ceramic and one metal piece, so-called bimorph element, ultrasonic waves are emitted due to bending vibration. In contrast, when an ultrasonic vibration is applied to a bimorph element, an electrical signal is generated. Based on the above effects, piezoelectric ceramics can be used as ultrasonic sensors.

Suitable for the transmission and reception of ultrasonic and infrasound waves, piezoelectric ceramics with large area can also be used to detect pressure and vibration. The working principle is to use the reversibility of the piezoelectric effect and apply an audio voltage to it to emit sound.
